Book of the Week: Seriously, Cinderella is So Annoying!

I wrote about this story recently for a guest post on Consonantly Speaking as part of the series "ABCs for SLPs: G is for Guest Posts."  I'll give you a sneak peak here, but you'll have to follow the link at the end to continue reading! :)

This week's Book of the Week is one of my favorites for elementary students.  This book is best for grades 2 and 3, but can also work for grades 1 and 4.  Here it is:

Seriously, Cinderella Is SO Annoying! (The Story of Cinderella as Told by the Wicked Stepmother) by Trisha Speed Shaskan.  This story is part of a series called "The Other Side of the Story."  The series takes classic fairy tales and tells them from another character's point of view.  The other books in the series are:  Believe Me, Goldilocks Rocks! (The Story of the Three Bears as Told by Baby Bear)Honestly, Red Riding Hood Was Rotten! (The Story of Little Red Riding Hood as Told by the Wolf), and Trust Me, Jack's Beanstalk Stinks! (The Story of Jack and the Beanstalk as told by the Giant).

There's your peek!!! To read the rest of this post, and to access TWO freebies, read on at Consonantly Speaking!!
